Godalming Town went into this game looking for a win and that is exactly what they got in this 6-0 thriller! The team looked unstoppable all thanks to the amazing left foot of Amanda Hollwey. Amanda had given star striker Louise skerry two absolutely perfect balls for her to put into the back of the net. Alas, Louise was not on her usual top form and so Amanda it seems decided to take things into her own hands with a superb left foot long distance goal just after Louise's 13th attempt had found the back of the net. Her team mates around her kept falling to the floor with injury after injury (Emma Rogers, Helen Someone) and some even deciding to take a nap half way through an incredible run at goal (Donna Barrett). Finally Emma Nicholson decided to step up and scored a superb left foot 'chip and dip' from a corner.
Half time and Amanda was moved upfront where she proved unstoppable (except for the times she was stopped) a further 3 goals and the game was theirs even if a player decided to bail on them at the last stretch.
