Ascot United 2-2 Godalming Town Ladies
Godalming Town Ladies' Pre-Season campaign continued with a good
2-2 draw away to newly promoted Ascot Utd on Sunday. The squad
has grown to 19 ladies and there were 2 trialists
again on Sunday who both performed well.
Manager Kevin Shepherd commented "I am pleased with all the new ladies and with the new season
starting in two weeks we are in a good shape.
Ascot are a good side and worked us hard at times but
we should have won. Maybe all the changes did not help.
I hope to organise one more game before start of the
season."
The first game of the 2008/9 season is on Sunday 14 September when Town travel to Guildford Saints.
